We are suggesting a visit to the Marché Sainte-Anne (rue Lalonde, corner of rue Sainte-Anne and Rue Saint-Pierre) beforehand (hours are 10:00 am to 1:00 pm) where Carya Farms and a number of other farmers have stalls selling locally raised and prepared foods, many of them organic. Then we will make our way to the farm. (Please note that this arrangement is in lieu of our August Wednesday evening visit to members’ gardens.)

September 7 to October 31:  Gardens of Light at the Montreal Botanical Garden. An evening experience not to be missed: The Chinese Garden displays its traditional lanterns, the Japanese Garden leads visitors along a meditative illuminated path inspired by the seasons, and the First Nations Garden features an intense multimedia experience of the cycle of life.

September 19 @ 7:30 pm:  Best-selling author Kathryn Aalto presents “The Natural World of Winnie-the-Pooh: a walk through the forest that inspired the hundred acre wood” at the Beaconsfield Garden Club, Herb Linder Lawn Bowling Annex of the Beaconsfield City Hall, 33 Beaconsfield Blvd. Guest Fee: $5

September 24 @ 7:30 pm:  Ken Brown will speak on "The Three + 1 Tenors" - Iris, Peonies, Daylily and Lily

October 22 @ 7:30 pm:  Guest speaker to be announced
